Benevity used ZenDesk; a customer service and helpdesk tool, to manage support requests and maintain a help desk for client administrators. Recently, we built out our Community section for admins to create a place where they can discuss their internal impact, struggles, and successes. This includes forums for discussion, FAQ's on different topics, and internal case studies.
With guidance from our UX team I utilized our Font Awesome library of icons to pick tile icons that had context and were on track with the imagery used throughout the Benevity platform. As the rest of the B-Hive (at the time) felt a bit cooler with more blues used throughout we wanted to advance the current B-Hive assets and create a warm and inviting digital space for admins.
Rather than just hoping users would click on a new tab we opted to add a fun smaller piece to do some internal advertising. I put together a warm, honey coloured banner to live on the main B-Hive landing page and drive interest and admins to the community.
